Title: Human Resources Manager

Pay: $24.54 - $26.42/hr. (depending on education and experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (or similar)

Location: Greeley, CO

Position Details: 32-40 hrs per week (40 preferred); 52 weeks per program year; exempt/salaried.

 

Description:

Colorado Early Education Network is a federally funded, non-profit organization that provides comprehensive early childhood education and learning services to eligible children birth to age 5. CEEN is seeking a highly motivated, experienced HR professional, who takes pride in his/her work, and thrives in an environment in which creativity, teamwork, resourcefulness and critical thinking are highly desired and valued.

 

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all areas of the HR function including, but not limited to, compliance with all federal, state and non-profit rules and regulations; recruiting; employee onboarding; new hire orientation and training; employee personnel file data tracking; and performance review management.

 

Human Resources Manager’s essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Manage and implement an innovative recruitment strategy for all exempt and non-exempt roles. Recruit and select qualified candidates, coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with all stakeholders in a timely manner. Reduce recruitment time from receipt of application to interview for candidates to ensure timely placement.
  • Compensation: Maintains and updates job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Implements and updates compensation program; conducts annual salary surveys; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Training & Development: Manage employee onboarding process. Coordinate and schedule new hire orientations and training. Ensure that all required forms are reviewed and signed by new employees and provide new employees with benefits information. Identify employee training needs and schedule relevant seminars and workshops, as needed. Update and maintain training records in online database.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Review and revise existing policies to ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements. Ensure consistent interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures, practices and principles relating to employee relations and risk management. 
  • HR Records: Maintain and update HR records and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment legislation and regulations. Update and manage personnel data system with employment and education information. Data system is used for the annual report, grant reporting, and tracking of compliance.
  • Other Responsibilities: maintain organization charts and center-based employee charts. Other incidental and related duties, special projects as required and assigned.
  • Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and works under the guidance of the Executive Director

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years HR experience and 5 years in management.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) and data entry
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, strong communicator able to juggle many tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License and the ability to travel locally.
